Dear,
I'm trying to create a business role that provides access to Import Data and to Marketing Application Job for Contact Deletion (e.g. "Contacts: Flag Contacts for Deletion based on Target Group") only without the usual Business Administrator access to manage interests or segmentation configuration etc.
I found the business catalogs related to Import Data and the catalog related to Marketing Application Jobs,
However I only get a sub-set of possible application jobs; e.g. I get the jobs to delete Target Groups and Segmentation Models, but not the jobs for Contact deletion (flag)...
I have these business catalogs in my role now.
Which one am I still missing to get access to the "Contacts: Flag Contacts for Deletion based on Target Group" job?
(PS I combine it on the user with the Marketing Expert SAP_BR_MARKETING_EXPERT role so the normal access to customer data is already present there)
Marketing - Marketing Application Jobs SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_AJB_PC
Marketing - Application Logs SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_ALG_PC
Marketing - Interest API SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_API_IOI_PC
Marketing - Contact Profile SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_CFS1_PC
Marketing - Data Stewardship SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_DST_PC
Marketing - Import Data SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_IMP_PC
Information Lifecycle Management - Data Aging SAP_CORE_BC_ILM_DAG

Hi Joyca,
I have just tested it. You are right, if you only assign SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_AJB_PC (Marketing Application Jobs), it only shows the application jobs related to some areas (target groups, seg models..) but not all.
However, if you use SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_AJB_PC and SAP_BCR_CEC_MKT_ADM1_PC (Marketing - Business Administration) it shows all, but obviously the other Business Admin apps are shown as well.
--> This would be something for our SAP Customer Influence Program for SAP Marketing Cloud.
Best regards,
Tim

Thanks for your reply tim.nusch!
I posted an idea on SAP Influence about the possibility to edit Business Catalogs (so you can remove individual apps from it) a long time ago already, that would help in this situation.
However a catalog named "SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_AJB_PC (Marketing Application Jobs)" should give access to all available application jobs in my opinion, so that seems more like a bug than an improvement request, should I create a SAP Incident for that part specifically maybe?

Yes, since this is not intuitive, it might be a good idea to log an incident for this as well.
Unfortunately, SAP Support doesn't seem to share this opinion 😞
in the catalog SAP_CEC_BC_MKT_AJB_PC you only can see jobs which are restrictive by authorization profiles.it is not possible to have individual application jobs in this role.
At the moment the design is to have both roles for admin users who have extended authorizations usually.
