Hi Experts,
We have a couple of different business roles, as example sales and service and all of them use the Activity Phone Calls.
We have now the requirement that the service employees have no longer access to the phone calls from sale.
Already in use are different categories for sales and service with Code List Restrictions on the category but it works only on create, have I forgotten something?
I have also tryed to find a suitable Access Restrictions but:
The service and sales employees are often in the same territory.
With the org units we have the Problem that often one service technician has to see phone calls from a colleague that is in a entirely different org unit.
Because of that I don't see a possibility to control the access via Access Restrictions.
Is there any way to handle this?

Hi,
In general code list restrction should work in QC and TI same way. If thats is not the case then you shoudl reach out to SAP Support.
Regarding access control for Service and Sales phone call activity based on category field, You can manage the access restriction using SDK BADI: CustomAccessControlListWrite however please be aware that implementing this BADI will replace the SAP standard access control logic for your business users. Sample code for BADI can be found in repository explorer.

Unfortunately the project is stopped because of Corona,... So I have to wait a couple of weeks before I can try it.
