Business Partner Error - Enter a value for field LANGU

Dear Experts,

I'm receiving an error message in the Message Dashboard for few customers that are replicated from C4C to SAP Marketing Cloud via SOAP: "Enter a value for field LANGU".

As per my knowledge this is the LANGU field of table ADRC. So as per my understanding it should be okay if the Language for the customer is maintained in C4C. As you can see, it is.

In the payload of the SOAP message that is delivered to MC I think it is the field "CorrespondenceLanguageCode". Am I right?

Does anybody have an idea where this error originates from? Am I looking at the wrong field?

As said, it is really only a few customers. I also compared the payload with another customer that is replicated without any errors and I was not able to see any difference between them (not in UI and not in the payload).

Hi all,

problem has been solved. Issue was caused by the following:

In C4C the Account can have multiple addresses. It is possible to maintain a language for each of them. One address has to be specified as main address.

In our case the Account has two addresses and there was no language maintained for both of them.

For the main address the system automatically sends the language which is maintained on Account level (its "main language"). But for the second address it does not.

Therefore we have to maintain a separate language for Accounts that have more than one address.

thanks for your feedback. Just checked, issue still exists. Do you know which component to choose for the creation of the ticket?

Hi Tobias,

I hope you have maintained the communication language in the iflow : Value Mapping for SAP Cloud for Customer and SAP Marketing Integration. When I had come across this error, the below maintenance had resolved.

As I understand this is especially for the other direction from MC to C4C, isn't it?
