Bulk edit is not working for product manager in Backoffice

Hello Guys

Looks like bulk edit is not working in backoffice if product manager has no permissions to create a product(At our system all products imported from SAP, that's why we restrict product creation for all product manager).

From my point of view this is totally wrong and changing create permission should not effect bulk edit.

Can somebody from SAP check it?

Looks like this is bug in SAP commerce.

As a temporary fix we extend perform method of BulkEditAction class.

public class CustomBulkEditAction extends BulkEditAction {

    @Resource
    private SessionService sessionService;
    @Resource
    private UserService userService;

    /**
     * Method is copy pasted from parent class.
     * The only difference is that "templateObject" created in context of admin user.
     * This is done because not every user has permissions to create items,
     * for example product managers has no permissions to create product items.
     */
    public ActionResult<Map> perform(ActionContext<Collection> context) {
        ...// same code as in parent method

            sessionService.executeInLocalView(new SessionExecutionBody() {
                @Override
                public void executeWithoutResult() {
                    try {
                        bulkEditCtx.put("templateObject", getObjectFacade().create(closestSuperType));
                    } catch (ObjectCreationException var8) {
                        //LOG.debug("Cannot create new item", var8);
                    }
                }
            }, userService.getAdminUser());

        ...// same code as in parent method
    }
}

Hope fix will be included in some future release.
