BP replication failing in SMC with error "Error while creating confirmation message: Error (id=):

Hello Experts,

I have deployed the I Flow "Replicate Business Partner to SAP Marketing via Business Partner Web Services" and I Flow got successful in CPI, but failed in Marketing cloud with error "Error while creating confirmation message: Error (id=): I went through couple of blogs and found same issue "https://answers.sap.com/questions/13051341/error-with-the-new-integration-between-sap-c4c-and.html"

As per the answer, I have cross-checked below points and everything looks fine

in the SAP_COM_0475 (Marketing - SAP Business Partner Integration) Communication Arrangement:

1. The Path for Outbound Services should match the one in the SOAP Based BP Replication iFlow (By default, it is not the same) - The outbound path in the communication arrangement is the same as the path maintained in the I Flow configuration
2. System ID, Logical System, and Business System fields of the used Communication System used in this Communication Arrangement should contain the same value: System ID, logical system and business system maintained in C4C communication arrangement is Marketing communication system ID. So both are the same

Now I am not understanding, what else I missed here, and please let me know if anything else I need to look further.

we had plenty of problems with the confirmation messages as well, partly SAP had to provide hot fixes. Our errors were of type "object identifier xxx does not exist. But I understand you are getting different ones?

Maybe three issues to check:

a) Please maintain the customizing of "Origin of contact ID"s for the entries (=origins) SAP_C4C_CONTACT and SAP_C4C_INDIV_CUST for the keymapping. This has been done already for origin 'SAP_C4C_BUPA'.

b) In the Communication Arrangement: "ID Mapping Replication to SAP Business Suite" on your C4C system, please disable the service "Replicate ID Mapping to SAP Business Suite" in the advanced settings. The service 'Replicate Business Partner ID Mapping to SAP Business Suite' should stay enabled, but you need to fill in the path from the other service.

c) Communication Arrangement for SAP_COM_0539 in SMC

=> Under Outbound Services, for Key Mapping- Confirmation S/4 HANA to Client, deselect the Service Status field.

These were hints I got from SAP support for various communication problems.

Hi All,

Just FYI

My issue with BP replication from C4C to Marketing through the "Replicate Business Partner to SAP Marketing via Business Partner Web Services" issue got fixed.

I have validated two pints to fix this issue

1. In the communication arrangement SAP_COM_0475, outbound service value should be "/cxf/yMKT/C4C/BusinessPartnerSUITEBulkReplicateConfirmation_Out"

2. In the communication system, have to maintain the C4C communication system details in the logical system and business system.

After i have maintain these two details properly, this issue got fixed.
