Bill credits for previous month in ISU

I have a requirement to bill credits for previous month in the current bill based on the virtual renewable energy produced by the customer. Are there any recommendations on how I can bill for previous period (or adhoc period) using corresponding months pricing in a regular periodic bill.

I have tried creating a rate which checks what amount should be credited based on previous months (or desired periods) production but I am not able to use the prices from that period. Will setting the price operands as 'For Customer Date' with modification to BADI 'ISU_BI_SELCONTROL' allow me to generate the credit for previous period and use appropriate prices? Does anyone has a sample of how this can be modified to achieve the desired goal

Any suggestions or alternatives would be appreciated.
