BDOCS from CRM to ECC

Hi when i am trying to update a customer contact details in CRM. This is deleting other details from customer in ECC.

I have found BDOC in smw01. Can someone guide me steps i could follow to find cause of this issue?

I am new to use CRM. Where/How can i know function module called to update customer in ECC from CRM.

Hello,

this is not so easy issue to simple check some FM. I'd suggest to try reading some background first, for example https://blogs.sap.com/2015/10/19/sap-crm-middleware-overview-with-step-by-step-configuration/

There are many FM's (which can be customised) that are called before BDOC creation, after BDOC creation (both in CRM), than many FM's on ECC side...
