BADI CUAN_IA_REVISE_FOR_IMPORT: How to read marketing area of contact and insert it into interaction

Hello together,

we have currently a problem in our production system as SAP E2E Process is lacking the possibility to create a confirmation email per marketing area. Result is that the marketing areas which are assigned to the interactions are not correct ones. Long story documented but documented in incident 53606 / 2019.

Anyway I found BADI CUAN_IA_REVISE_FOR_IMPORT.

Is it possible inside this BADI to:

1. Read the current marketing area of the contact to which the interaction is assigned to?

2. If marketing area is not correct delete it and retrieve the marketing area of the contact and assign it to the interaction.

3. If no marketing area is assigned to the interaction retrieve the marketing area of the contact and assign it to the interaction.

This is very important for us. Anybody has experience how to retrieve the marketing area of the contact inside BADI CUAN_IA_REVISE_FOR_IMPORT ?
