Backoffice Product Cockpit template for exporting products

In Backoffice Product Cockpit view, we have a template for importing products through template, but this is not possible for exporting data. We have a requirement to export the data with multiple templates (excel format). Any help on this is much appreciated

But instead of selecting the attributes every time, is there any option where we can provide the excel templates for each customer with the list of attributes they required in the header and export the data based on the excel templates?

This is an improvement to the feature that we captured and will work on it, but not in the near future

Also we have some attributes created as relations with product Model. So for exporting those attributes, we need to go with a custom translator or do we have anything available OOTB.

If there are custom attributes created, this needs to be handled by custom translators, as we can not predict all the cases and have a generic solution that would cover any user-custom made attributes. That is why we have the extension points of custom translators and validators.

Ignore the 1st question above. We have a requirement, where we need to export the product data into excel using PCM Backoffice. We have different customers where each of them can have different set of attributes to export. In PCM backoffice we can export the product data by selecting the attributes and export them. But instead of selecting the attributes every time, is there any option where we can provide the excel templates for each customer with the list of attributes they required in the header and export the data based on the excel templates? Also we have some attributes created as relations with product Model. So for exporting those attributes, we need to go with a custom translator or do we have anything available OOTB. Requesting more specifics to answer fully:

Q: Post on hybris community to look for a possible solution on restriction of attributes in Excel Export option.

A: Can you be more specific about what restrictions are you referring to?

Q: Open a ticket / incident with hybris asking the limitation of saving the export template.

A: This is a new feature – we do not have it planned, at least not in the next release.

Q: Need of customization for excel export, attributes for selection when attributes are not in the Product data model / table.

A: Where are the attributes then? Not clear enough to comment on this. We would also like to get more details about the exact use case you are referring to about the limitations of saving the export template. To make sure we are talking about the exact use case.
