Backoffice PCM filtering by catalog version

Hey all,

We are using Backoffice PCM with a typical setup of master catalog + 2 country-specific catalogs (DE, FR). We are observing strange behavior when trying to navigate between catalogs. For example, with an admin user who has read and write access to all catalog versions, the results are as follows:

 Select Master catalog - empty results
 Select Any category from master catalog - all results (products from master catalog, FR catalog and DE catalog)
 Select DE catalog - all results (products from master catalog, FR catalog and DE catalog)
 Select FR catalog - empty results

Also, selecting any category from the filter tree does not narrow down the search results. Select facet value does narrow search results.

From initial analysis it looks that DefaultBackofficeFacetSearchService always adds all readable catalog versions to the query and joins them with OR operator and ignores the selections made in the GUI of Backoffice.

Have you used Backoffice PCM with multi catalog setup? If yes, have you noticed any issues similar to the above ones?

Hi,

this issue was not discovered yet. Which version are you using? Have you changed the indexing mechanism anyhow?

Maybe you could share impex files to demonstrate the issue?
