Backoffice configuration reset extremely slow in 6.7

Hi all,

Since upgrading to Hybris Commerce 6.7, we are experience terrible performance when performing a reset of the Backoffice configuration (F4, reset config, F4). It takes in the area of 10 minutes (when we do not use Jrebel) and more than 15 minutes with Jrebel enabled).

I am just wondering whether anyone else observes this behaviour.

From the thread dumps, it is doing a lot of XML parsing, nothing special.

The time you have mentioned is 10 to 15 times the normal time it takes. Did you check it in different browsers? What is the memory configuration?

Is it happening only the first time after you started up the server? It could be that your Backoffice is not warmed up yet. There is this flag you can enable when the server get started backoffice.fill.typefacade.cache.on.startup=true, it will warm up by filling up the cache with the types you need in backoffice.

Hi, unfortunately not. It happens with each reset of configuration.

It is not the normal time, as it took up to a minute in hybris 6.6, on the same machines. The system runs on 24GB of memory (we run a large set of platform cache regions) and we always have about 30% free memory (for the efficiency of the G1 GC).

We are experiencing the same issue as well. We upgraded from 6.6.0.7 to 6.6.0.13 and on reset in the orchestrator view, it is slow.

Have you tried doing a hybris update with all the nodes of backoffice selected?
