Backoffice address search by owner not working

HiI guys,

we are trying to limit the Customer#defaultShippingAddress property in backoffice to only show the address associated to the current customer. This seems to be possible by configuring the reference editor. But it doesn't seem to work for this particular scenario. Its not even possible to search for an address by setting the owner attribute to a customer. This results in an error message! We are using hybris 6.6.

This seems like to be a real hybris bug.

I hope you guys can help.

Could you please provide some details? Some screenshot, configuration snippet should help a lot in investigating this problem.

Just set a customer to the owner property in the search. Then this error pops up:

EQUALS seems not to be implemented (correctly).

when searching for addresses of specific customers - Backoffice - User - Addresses set the owner to a Customer and search

This error will occur: ERROR [AbstractBackofficeWidgetController:32] GenericSubQueryCondition is only compatible with following operators: [IN, NOT_IN, EXISTS, NOT_EXISTS] java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: GenericSubQueryCondition is only compatible with following operators: [IN, NOT_IN, EXISTS, NOT_EXISTS]

Even in hmc it is not possible to search for an address based on an owner.

Same error of GenericSubQueryCondition occurs when setting the defaultShipmentAddress in backoffice-config.xml with a editorArea:editor-parameter of referenceSearchCondition_owner.

Somehow it is related to the backoffice not being able to properly view and edit an isSelectionOf attribute.

Had same problem with reference search in create-wizard:

 <wz:editor-parameter>
      <wz:name>referenceSearchCondition_supercategories</wz:name>
      <wz:value>{parentObject.baseProduct.supercategories}</wz:value>
  </wz:editor-parameter> 

                        

so, i've changed it to referenceSearchCondition_supercategories_in
