B2C Businesspartner: SAP approach: Data replication in CDC-Commerce-S4HANA environment

Hi,

we have a customer who'd like to deploy a B2C web-shop.The system landscape is SAP Customer Data Cloud with SAP Commerce V2 und SAP S/4HANA onPremise.Currently we speak about businessPartner:

- businessPartners should be read in SAP Commerce from S/4HANA

- businessPartner should be created from SAP Commerce and send to S/4HANA

- businessPartner should be updated from SAP Commerce and send to S/4HANA

What is here the SAP approach to connect businessPartners in a CDC-Commerce-S4HANA environment? Which system is the master source and which systems are the slaves? My customer isn't sure.

I assume that the complete businessPartner transport will be done over the CDC and that there isn't any direct connection between S/4HANA and SAP Commerce for businessPartners. In this case, the master source is CDC and slaves are SAP Commerce and S/4HANA. All existing customers can be read in SAP Commerce over CDC. Is that assumption correct?

If we cannot use CDC for businessPartner reading: How we would getting the data from S/4HANA into SAP Commerce Cloud?
