Automating the install of the Cloud 4 Sales add-ins for Outlook

Hi Expert,

It is possible to automating the install of the Cloud 4 Sales add-ins for Outlook. Or Can we install the Outlook add-in for bulk users. Admin can install the outlook add-in for all users.

Has anyone been able to automate this process?

Hello ,

Yes it is possible to mass install add-in for your organization.

• In case you are using Client Side Add-In then you can download the MSI file from SAP Support Portal and follow the instruction to install the addin as mentioned HERE under the title "Configure Remote Installation of Add-In with MSI File".
• In case you are using Server-Side Add-in then your outlook exchange addin can actually deploy a manifest file that has to be downloaded from the E-Mail Integration --> Groupware Settings --> Settings --> Show Manifest. option in C4C. For more details pls check this link.

Dear Saurabh, in case of SSI and mass deployment the manifest file is a neccessity, but I think "Optional Connected Experiences " has to be in "on" state if you are running Outlook 365 or what do you think?
