Assign External pricing to Internal Pricing for Opportunities

Hi!

I have a requeriment for Opportunities. I need use pricing for opportunities, in the Opportunities on Fine Tuning, I can check "Internal pricing" for the opportunities.

But my system is using external pricing, in this configutation (Fine Tuning-> Opportunities-> Type documents-> Check Internal Pricing) say:

"This configuration adds a Pricing tab to the Opportunity, which allows you to use the internal pricing capabilities on header and on item level, such as changing list prices derived from internal price lists or granting discounts. Note, if it comes to follow-up documents with external pricing, a custom solution needs to map the internal price conditions to the external pricing conditions of the follow-up document."

The question is: How can I do the configuration that let me map the internal price conditions to the external pricing conditions of the follow-up document?

Can you give some information on how the opportunity fits your end to end process? Is the opportunity triggering for example a follow up document in ERP or in C4C (Sales Quote)?

To understand your need we need more context. By the way in the standard you do not use both internal and external pricing at the same time in the same type of documents. For example you can set up opportunities with internal pricing and when a follow up for example a sales quote is created you can execute external pricing to eable the replication of the sales quote to ERP where the ERP sales quote can then be 'transformed' into a sales order.

Therefore the remark from the documentation makes sense: "Note, if it comes to follow-up documents with external pricing, a custom solution needs to map the internal price conditions to the external pricing conditions of the follow-up document." Which means you have no configuration option to do any mapping - that needs to be programmed.
