Are there Marketing Areas in Emarsys?

Hello,

I want to configure up to 20 different organizational units in Emarsys like Marketing areas in SAP MC.

But I can´t find any information in Emarsys documentary.

Can you help me?

Hi sarah_dottie, thank you for your question, but can you give some more details? What kind of organizational units are you talking about, and what is the use case/business need for them? I am sure we can find a solution, I just want to make sure it is the right one ;-).

Hi wyoung,

we have a client with companies in different countries. Every country wants an own area in Emarsys with own templates and reporting.

But the client also wants a whole overview about all activities.

Hi Sarah,

I already had that question and asked a colleague but the answer was no. So, you don't have any "authorization object" like Marketing Areas in Emarsys.

In your case it seems like the customer will need different Emarsys Accounts/Subaccounts. I don't know if a global reporting is possible then.

Hi sarah_dottie, no, there is currently no global reporting of subaccounts in the platform. However, you can use Open Data to export from each account and analyze the results in an external tool, or request a custom export.
