Hello together,
we just found out that there are 79.000 obsolete contacts in our system shown in App Browse Contact Data. This must be an automatic process as we have not flagged any contact as obsolete. Anybody knows how this works?
Can we identify these contacts in Segmentation? If yes which attribute has to be used?

Hi Oliver,
The only case of obsolete contacts I've come across is for corporate accounts transferred from SAP ECC. If they are flagged for deletion in SAP ECC then the standard iflow will map the deletion flag to the obsolete indicator in SAP Marketing Cloud.

Markus

Hi Oliver,
Yes you can identify such contacts using "OBSOLETE" flag in segmentation. This flag is not available by default in standard segmentation profile attributes.
For this purpose you need to add "OBSOLETE" in corresponding segmentation data source/hana view. This field lies in CUAND_CE_IC_ROOT and you need to bring this field to you segmentation data source and then upload the modified view back to cloud.
