Analysis Customer Email Limits General

Hello,

Is it possible in the Marketing Cloud to analyze or view how many mails my customers have received and if the email limits have been reached?

If necessary, I can create target groups with customers who should not receive any emails because they have received too many emails across all communications categories.

So I can only set a limit for one Communications Category and no overall limit, so that the customer is not overloaded with too many emails.

Do you have the same limit for all of your customers?

I haven't tried it yet, but I can imagine that this is possible using the Suppression BAdI.

Hey Tobias,

We have 3 different marketing areas and a few email limits with communications categories. But basically the customers have the same number of emails they are only allowed to receive. So there are only custom solutions in the Marketing Cloud and no standard functionality? Like for example in the Analytics & Report Gallery.

Hi Lisa,

well maybe you can build a report to show how many emails a customer received. But that won't give you an automatic check for campaign execution. So I think you should try to use the BAdI. I'm not aware of any other standard functionality by which you can achieve this.
