Amount spent by customers in Segmentation

Hi there,

I can see in the Segmentation Configuration there is the option to Choose 'Amount' in the Sales Data.

1) Does this segmentation attribute represent the amount customers are spending?

2) If yes, how can i segment customers with a high average spend or low average spend using the operators available when i choose this attribute? e.g. Will Top N and Bottom N provide this

3) What is the difference between 'amount' and 'Total Amount'

Not sure if this will answer all your questions but please take a look at this blog I wrote a few months ago.

Hope it helps in some way.

PS: Amount usually does represent the amount customers are spending on a sales order but that really very much depends on your scenario and how the sales order fields are being populated from source system.
