Today, in order to provide my IT infrastructure team with SAP Hybris C4C's file for SSO configuration, I need to navigate to the Administrator WC > Common Tasks > Configure Single Sign-On > My System, and then click the "SP Metadata" link to obtain he XML file necessary for SSO registration. This process is required every time I perform a tenant refresh (despite having the same URL) since the tenant gets a new certificate.
My Infrastructure team asked: "Is there a publicly available metadata URL for the app? If so, we could monitor it and it will auto-check for updates." Is this kind of web request to retrieve the file available, either with credentials or anonymously?
Request clarification before answering.
dear Bradley,
There is no public way to retrieve this data. However, the expectation is that once the integration is set up it is done. Why is a tenant refresh a common scenario in your landscape?
Best Regards,
Pragya

We perform a tenant refresh before each of the quarterly C4C updates to ensure our test and production environments match for testing purposes. Otherwise, if there were any inconsistency, testing during early release of the update may be invalid. Registering the new certificate 4 times a year is not a task we did not expect given we're keeping the same URL. We're looking for ways to simplify the process while maintaining our comprehensive testing.
