Hi community,

I faced the following situation when I made changes a PDF template for Sales Quote, using ALD:

1.In the Sales quote we have a field (created with adaptation) - Local Name (ID - LOCALNAME)

2. We have to add this field to the SQ template (PDF).

To implement it I:

- download the template of Sales Quote

- open it in the ALD

- copy and past already available field

- rename new field as Local Name in the Caption

- in the Binding type the path

Save it and replace the template in the system

3. After that, when I create a PDF through the Sales Quote in the C4C I don't see my new field (Local Name) in the PDF.

Clould you please explain what is wrong in my steps?

Hi Alexander,

Are you sure there is data available in the binding you are using ($.formquote.localname) ?

If not, the field wont be displayed unless you change the property of the field to be displayed always visible.

Hi Alexander,

Steps seems to be fine. Before this,

a. check if template is published

b. Sales order quote must pick same variant for changes to be visible.

You can cross check format in ALD by clicking on Preview.
