Hello,
is there a possibility to give an additional ID (Origin) or a Marketing Area for an Impoert of contacts via CSV? If we specify the fields, the Import Monitor says that the fields are invalid and will be ignored.
Does anyone have experience with this or can they give me a hint?
Best regards,
Lisa

Hello Lisa,
For ID origin you have to use in CSV technical filed name ID_ORIGIN and this origin id must be defined in your system.
I think, that importing contacts with marketing area via csv is not possible. You can assign marketing area after importing by launching job: Contacts: Enrich Contacts with Marketing Area

Hello Robert,
yes I know that I have to define the ID_Origin in the system. And in these settings I can add an additional Origin, such as Email, Fax, SAP Customer Number.
And I now want to add this additional ID in addition to the ID_Origin and ID so that my contacts are flagged and merged regularly. Otherwise there will be inconsistent merge jobs and some contacts will be merged and some will not.
Our shop can give the additional ID and merge it correctly. But without this ID the CSV Contact does not merge with shop contacts although it is the same contact.
Thank you for the hint with the launching job.
Best regards,
Lisa

Hey Lisa,
The settings and priority of ID_ORGIN you maintain are counted for match and merge.
You can check the detailed video in youtube and sap help page on match-merge.
