Hi Expers,

I'm wondering is it possible to add the attribute Origin ID (ID_ORIGIN) in Condition Assignment in the Email template and then to define condition based on the value of this attribute?

BR,

Valentina

Hi,

Yes you can define "ID Origin" as a conditional attribute for emails.

At first you need to enable "ID Origin" in the personalisation attribute of the email by clicking "gear" icon as shown:

And once added, then you should be able to see them in condition block as well.

Hi saurabhkabra2009,

is it also possible with the new Editor Lite or only with the old Editor?

Best, Sascha

Hi kunalkumar.bansal,

Thank you too, there is an option actually. Our use case is that we have different opt-out links for contacts who have CDC profile and those who don't (only in Marketing Cloud) stored.
That why I was searching for this attribute.

Valentina

Hi,

Thank you, saurabhkabra2009! I managed later on in the way that this should be enabled in the Segmentation profile and then in "Settings" of Emal this profile should be added as personalization.

Strange is that if I proceed as you suggesting, I don't have this "gear" button.

Look at the picture below.

Hi,

You will not find that gear button "Conditions Block".

You should first go to any text area in your email template(subject or body) and choose the "Insert Attribute" option and then you should be able to find the personalization attribute and gear button to enable or disable any attribute.

Since Conditional Block, as well as Email personalization attribute, share the same logic hence it wil also be pulled in the Consitional Block for condition evaluation.
