Hello Team,
Is there a way to add email pre-header for emails in SAP Marketing on prem?
One possibility is to add html source code but it is too technical for business users.
Thanks.

Hi Pushpak,
do you mean the preview text when creating emails (Lite) in content studio?

Which version of SAP Marketing do you use? This feature as far as I remember should be available in Marketing Cloud since 2005 release, so it should also be available in the subsequent Marketing on-prem release.
I don't think that there's an easier way to add that one in an earlier release.

Hi Tobias,
Thanks for your response.
We're using SAP marketing 2020 on prem version.
Email preheader example using html code addition -

So i think this is same as Preview Text?
Also, as you mentioned Preview Text feature is available since approx 2005 release, so will this feature be available in next on prem release?
Regards,
Pushpak
Hi pushpak_shukla,
yes, exactly. This is how it looks like when creating the email (Lite) in content studio:

As you can see you can also personalize the preview-text with attributes like First Name and so on.
And this is how the email looks like in the mailbox then:

To be honest, I would have expected this feature to be available also in SAP Marketing 2020 version (since I thought that one was released in September 2020 and by that should include all of the features of the previous cloud releases). But yes then of course it should be available in the next on-prem release.
Hope that helps
BR Tobias
Hi @schneidert
I have the same question, but in my company we are using SAP marketing Cloud 2020.
Do you know whether this version has this feature as default? I don't find it.
