Add extra the email of the seller or account executive within an birthday email campaign

Hello everybody!

I have a question: Would it be possible to add the email of the seller or account executive within an email campaign that is sent to account contacts for their birthdays?

The desired scenario is this: Today the email is sent to congratulate Maria on her birthday (Maria is the contact of the company account x) and it is desired that that email also be received as a blind copy or additionally be sent to the account executive of company x. Is this scenario possible?

I was checking within the options in the email template under the sender profile, there is this option of customization of sending for a third party (green square), here you could add the name and email of the executive so that you also receive it in copy each time that is this birthday campaign sent to your contacts?

Please tell me if this scenario would be feasible and how it could be done.

this is possible but not via SAP standard.

We are using the generic email sender approach to add our sales representatives in cc when we sent emails to C4C contacts. Based on a call to C4C API we get the right contact person and set this sales guy in cc.

Hello Carla,

I doubt the exact scenario which you are trying to achieve is supported.

The green square portion in the Email settings is Personalization for Sending on Behalf Of which is to influence the sender name, reply-to-address and reply name for the email being sent to the customer.

More Information can be found in Make Settings for a Personalized Email

It wont send a copy or additional email to that address.

As of now , we have a feature called Seed List Email Seed List and Contact for Personalization

A seed list is a list of email recipients that receive a copy of marketing emails sent by a campaign, when the action in the campaign flow is executed for the first time. For example, if a manager of a team wants to receive marketing emails that are sent by the team, the manager's email address has to be included in the seedlist.

For your case , I guess you might be using a Periodic campaign to drop an Email to the Customers on their Birthdays , So in case of Periodic Campaign , Each time a campaign is executed , seed list contact will receive a copy mail , which means ( for today if 10 contacts have a birthday and if 10 mails are triggered from campaign execution , seed list contact will receive 1 mail for that execution as a copy ) , But I guess this wont fulfil your requirement if you require a copy mail to the account executive for the email sent to each contact .
