Account team tab in Contact profile not seen if contact is not created manually

Hi experts,

When we try to create an interaction contact manually in marketing cloud , i can see account team tab in interaction contact and able to add sales team into it. But if i import the contact via template in import data tile, i could not see account team tab in contact . Have anyone experienced this ?

Hello Seshu,

the Account Team tab is available for contacts from type consumers only - when uploading the contacts please make sure to have the IS_CONSUMER flag set either in the CSV file or in the payload when using any odata service.

We have this same issue, and when trying to import using CSV file import I cannot see the IS_CONSUMER or IS_CONTACT fields in the template. Do we just manually add it in?

Please can you explain why the Account Team tab is only available for contacts of type consumers? Surely we would want to assign team members to contacts individually as well as to the associated account?

Hi venkata.seshukumar ,

This is quite odd. Have you tried importing "Account Team" to those contacts you imported via "Import Data" application again?

If the problem still persists, I'd suggest you to create a support ticket.
