Hi,
In S4 we have a scenario for Accounts that are assigned on Customer Hierarchy based on Sales Area data. Basically, it's possible for Account 1 (Sales Area 1) to be assigned to Parent 1 (Sales Area 1) and Account 1 (Sales Area 2) to be assigned to Parent 2( Sales Area 2 ).
Checking on SAP C4C Help Guide, an account can only be assigned to a single parent account: Account Hierarchy | SAP Help Portal
Is this a limitation of C4C?

You are correct in your assumption in regards to limitattion.
This would be an enhancement request to product management.
