version-indicator-r-is-not-active.jpgHi Experts,

I am working on the Marketing cloud and we already established integration between C4C and Marketing and accounts have been replicated to Marketing successfully. But very few accounts failing in Marketing with the error "Version indicator R is not active" & Version indicator H is not active"

As per my understanding, this is related to the On-prem system, but I am not understanding why accounts failing in the Marketing cloud with this error and I couldn't get the solution on this fix.

Please see the attachment for more details and help me here with a possible solution to fix it?

Our master data flow: ECC -- > C4C -- > Marketing cloud

Venkata

Dear Venkata,

I'm receiving the exact same error message. For me it also, does not occur for all business partners or accounts.

Did you create an incident? And if so what was the outcome?

Kind regards,

Hi Venkata,

so as I can see you are using SOA-based integration?

Do you have a sample payload of the failed message (without personal/confidential data)? Maybe I could compare to one of our integrations and check the difference.

Kind Regards

HI Schneider,

Thanks for your reply.

I can share the payload, but I would like to let you know one thing that, not all customers failing with this error, but very few.

All other customers are successfully replicating to marketing. So failed customer payload will help to investigate further ?

Hi v.ramaraju.mudunuri,

did you already check what is the difference in ERP or C4C between Accounts that are replicated succesful and the ones that fail? Never heard about "version indicator" and never had that issue, so maybe checking the payload would help to understand where it is originating from.

Otherwise I would suggest to open an incident for that topic and let SAP check.
