Accessing dropdown value from a QC view to implement visibility rule in EC (SAP C4C)

Hi there,

I have been dealing with this issue for quite a while and I could not find any appropriate answer that specifically addresses my issue. I am trying to hide/show content in an EC based on the value selected by the user in a QC view, however, accessing the value is not possible using the DataModel in UI Designer and thus I cannot implement the rule. Could somebody tell me, if it was possible to access the value of a selected dropdown in a QC view in order to implement visibility rules in an embedded component using the UI Designer?
