Hi Expert,
Can we set the double or more digit value length for ABC classification field in C4C system as currently system is giving the error "Value is longer than the maximum permitted length 1: "

Hi Nishchay,
You can't. So there is a max of 26 rows you can add in this table A, B, C, D, E up to Z
I am curious about the requirement.
If you want a different set up with more than one digit, you could of course decide to create an extension field in the adaption mode.

Hi MJ,
Thanks for replying
Here is my requirement, we have more than 26 ABC classification in ECC system. Now business is adding new ABC classification in ECC which has maintained in double digit but they are not replicating into C4C as throwing the error. is there any way we can increase the length for ABC field in C4C system. Or any other solution ?
Thanks for help

Nish
Hi Nishchay,
I just checked i saw that you could also add 1 - 9 as entries, so that results in 26 + 9 = 35 entries in total.
Unfortunately you can't increase.
Did you consider to use another standard field? Maybe the Nielsen ID? which has 2 digits.
An extension field seams a good alternative - you have to make it valid for the webservices you are using and check with your integration colleague to map the fields correctly.
