Hello,
in regards to the issue of integrating SAP Customer Checkout with SAP ECC, is the retail component required to establish the integration?
Furthermore, is the connection of SAP Customer Checkout with S/4 HANA required to use the retail component. Or how exactly is the regular connection achieved between SAP Customer Checkout and SAP ECC/ S/4 HANA?

Hello,
In the standard solution(out of the box) from SAP Customer
Checkout 2.0 FP11 we support the following.
Posting from SAP Customer Checkout manager 2.0 FP11 to SAP S/4 HANA , SAP ECC, and SAP S/4 HANA Cloud.
Example:
A transaction from SAP Customer Checkout PoS reaches SAP Customer Checkout
manager.
Once you have created the communication system and communication arrangements
in SAP Customer Checkout manager, the sales and cash transactions can be posted to SAP ERP
systems.
We support posting WPUBON and WPUFIB. They can be posted
using http or RFC(Remote function call).
WPUBON and WPUFIB are available with the Retail Switched ON.
This means the retail is needed.
Also we support posting SOAP
based sales transaction, and cash transaction.
We support synchronizing master data of articles using
ProductMerchandiseViewReplicationBulk.
It is of-course also possible not to use the standard out of
the box integrations and do a self-integration using
SAP PO or SAP Cloud Integration possibilities. Those has to
be done on customer project basis by a partner.
Example: You want to integrate SAP Customer Checkout manager
to SAP ERP without using SAP Retail.
Such integrations have been done by some partners and maybe
collaboration is also possible here.
