С4С Cloud Studio 2405 cannot be installed due to "Visual Studio 2015 Update 3 "

Hello

When I try to install new SAP Cloud Applications Studio 2405 I am receiving error "This program requires the Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 Update 3" and proposition to download it. MS proposes to download ISOs "Visual Studio 2015 Update 3" and "Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 with Update 3". I downloaded both. And both cannot be installed to be consistent for new Studio due to "you have a newer version" or impossibility to obtain package netfx_NETCoreSDK.msi.  

Does somebody know where can I get an "VS 2015 Update 3" package that the studio will like? Or can I install the SAP Cloud Applications Studio 2405 somehow?

Hi @vkalenic3, I am facing the same issue. When I try to install the SAP Cloud Application Studio 2405, it asks to install VS2015 Isolated Shell. So, I installed VS1015 Isolation Shell and VS2015 Update 3. However, it asks to install VS2015 isolation shell again. I have completely uninstalled VS2015 and reinstalled VS2015. However unable to install SAP Cloud Application Studio 2405. Can you provide the steps to successfully install the SDK? Thanks and Regards, Arun

Based on my past experiences, files sometimes get screwed up and sometimes need to uninstall all the Visual Studio stuff and simply reinstall latest versions which will bring all the required dependencies. So, if my first proposal does not work, I'd usggest you to do this.

The advice to uninstall VS2015 completely and install again helped. But for Update 3 I had to substitute the service packs manually from the downloaded ISO. Automatic downloading of Update 3 packages from the Internet doesn't work anymore, probably because of VS2015 age

vkalenic3, is right! I had to install update3 manually from iso, it was in folder packages/vsupdate_kb3022398
