We’re pleased to announce that SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 Feature Pack 20 has been released on July 2024.
This new Feature Pack 20 includes enhancements to existing functionalities and new features in SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager.
The following enhancements are the main highlights of the new feature pack:
- Migrate to SAP Machine 17 : SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager version 2.0 Feature Pack 20 is the last version that supports SAP Machine 11. Hence, we recommend our customers and partners move to SAP Machine 17 so that the update process for higher versions will be smooth and easy. Do not forget to verify that all your hardware devices support SAP Machine 17 before updating your SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 Feature Pack 20 to SAP Machine 17 and onwards.
- New application in Gift cards
- New app “Gift card configurations” implemented to create different configurations for the gift cards and then apply them during new gift card creation or change already created instances accordingly
- New “General” tab available within the Gift card configurations app to create/copy gift card configurations and get a general template overview
- New “Instances” tab available within the Gift card configurations app to have a faster look at the instances from the configuration page
- New “Rule conditions” tab available within the Gift card configurations app to set conditions under which the specific gift card is applied at the time of sale
- New “Rule actions” tab available within the Gift card configurations app to set rule actions to be used for the respective gift card
- New URL in the “Download token” parameter available to get the download links for digital gift cards
- New “Type code” selection available in POS gift card configuration to differentiate between different use-cases of gift cards for sale
- New field “Valid from” available to specify exactly when the redeem period of a gift card starts
- New checkbox “One-time usage” implemented to declare that the gift card can only be used once to fulfill special requirements
- New tab “Sales information” available within the Gift cards app to visualize and show how much was paid by the particular gift card that was used as payment method per receipt
- New report “Receipt information per gift card and customer” available to give an overview of all receipts that were involved with gift cards for a specific period
- New report “Gift card revenue per customer, tax rate and article group” available to give an overview of which articles were bought by gift cards aggregated by customer, article group, and tax rate
- New option to adapt displayed content e.g. place slideshow pictures, change background picture or logo
- Improved overview of all bought articles with UoM code translations, including sales/manual sets and their sub-items that are shown on Customer Display
- New “Payment information” and “Foreign currency code” available on Customer Display to get receipt details, and payment details, including paid tax amount, and draw-back amount as well as the amount that was paid in a different currency
- New “PIN” setting available that allows the showing of a QR code with the correct PIN in the Customer Display so that the customer can access the digital receipt
- Extended name field length for company in POS System configuration so it is possible to enter a Company name with less or equal to 100 characters
- Extended functionality to store a notification history for the respective user, to see messages history on log out and log in, or after refreshing the page
- Improved password policy for technical users to use technical users for integration scenarios only and restrict technical users to login to SAP Customer Checkout manager UI
- New field mapping for Outbound SAP S/4 HANA integration scenarios available to define Alternative POS group ID that will help to integrate different SAP S/4 HANA systems and map the internal POS group ID to different Plant ID for different SAP S/4 HANA systems
