We’re pleased to announce that SAP Customer Checkout 2.0 Feature Pack 17 has been released on
29th of August 2023.
This new Feature Pack 17 includes enhancements to existing functionalities and new features in SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager.
The following enhancements are the main highlights of the new feature pack:
- Local Tax Calculation for the United States of America (USA) integrated with SAP S/4 HANA
- Enhancements for North America
- New currency for Canada (CAD) available in SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager
- Possibility to select provinces for Canadian addresses in POS configuration, customer dialog, and shipment information dialog
- Re-Open Receipts
- Possibility to re-open already posted and paid receipts
- Reverse and copy receipt automatically performed when re-opening receipt
- New permission available for users to re-open receipts
- New quick selection button available
- Table Service: New configuration setting available that replaces ‘change payment’ with ‘re-open receipt’
- Possibility to re-open receipts from one POS system in another POS system
- Receipt Reversal
- Automatically cancelation of new receipts when receipt reversal is performed
- Global Receipt Copy
- Possibility to copy receipt from one POS system to another POS system
- Copy receipts with header and item discounts, coupons, and gift cards
- New Retail UI
- Improved behavior to configure function button when clicking on a column in the receipt, e.g. to adjust item description
- Possibility to view user defined fields for customers in the customer creation dialog
- Enhancements in Digital Receipt
- Optimized download page for digital receipt and gift card for end-customers
- Enhancements in Quick Selections
- Optimized behaviour when editing manual sets in the POS system
- Improved behaviour when changing sub-items of existing sales sets
- Select default currency when creating a new quick selection configuration with pre-configured images of the notes
- Improved behaviour to flexibly position Proceed-to-pay button quick selection configuration
- Enhancements in Mobile Order
- New payment service provider type for Payone available that enables to pay in Mobile Order with Payone
- New information messages shown when email delivery to end-customer
- New communication system for Archive Service available to dispatch and archive receipts and sales summaries from SAP Customer Checkout manager
- New layout for A4 receipt print template available
- New default currency AED available in SAP Customer Checkout and SAP Customer Checkout manager
