At SAP Customer Experience Labs, we've also done our homework (aka research). We focused on the applicability of visual coding for lambda (serverless) functions. The basis of all this research is Kyma, SAP's enterprise-grade extensibility solution based on Kubernetes, Knative, ISTIO and a few more cool open source projects - also check out the update post here with a few videos showing visual lambda's on Kyma.
