Do you wonder how often and when changes are applied to
configuration and pricing services on SAP BTP and how to get notified about those changes?
New functionalities are typically delivered via quarterly releases. You can find the release schedule at
SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing | SAP Help Portal ->
Release Schedule and Dates | SAP Help Portal.
Bugfixes are delivered regularly at any time. All changes are always applied to all customer tenants and they are published in the What's New viewer:
https://help.sap.com/whats-new/cf0cb2cb149647329b5d02aa96303f56?Component=Application%20for%20Data%2...
Please note that the three components,
variant configuration,
pricing service, and
application for data replication and administration, are selected when opening that link.
Use the Subscribe functionality there to get notified about changes:

Subscribe
When subscribing, choose
Only updates to content matching the filters you have applied.
When you receive an email with subject 'SAP Help Portal: Updates in Your Subscribed Pages' with the latest changes on What's New, it is important to log on to help portal when clicking on the link in that email, to have the filters of the three chosen components applied. Otherwise, you will also see changes to all other BTP applications.
To view and edit all your subscriptions, open
My subscriptions on SAP Help Portal.
Unfortunately, sometimes it takes some time for the notes to be published in the viewer. A faster way to see them is in the old viewer:
https://help.sap.com/docs/variant-configuration-and-pricing/what-s-new-for-sap-variant-configuration...
It does not have a subscription feature to be notified about the changes, but it is a good place to check if something was deployed.
Please also follow the tag
SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing to get notified about new blog posts. We plan to announce release updates via blogs in advance of the release.
In the future, we also plan to link new blogs at the end of
SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing – Solution Brief | SAP Blogs. So, it is worth to check from time to time.
