Data Migration after Go-live without making change\implementation project request

Sometimes in standalone Cloud implementation project, it is required to upload additional data after the project live, but we do not want to change implementation project merely for this reason, then we should follow these steps to upload the data into our production tenant:

1. a. Log on to SAP Cloud for Customer.
2. b. Open a new browser window.
3. c. In the address bar of that browser window, for the item with additional data to upload, paste the sample URL indicated below:

1. d) Navigate to the page that corresponds to the specific URL of your tenant.
2. e) Upload the data and execute migration, as instructed above, then close the browser window.

Data Migration tool available upload options

• Add New Record: This option allows adding the new accounts in SAP C4C Application.
• Enhance already Existing Record: This option allow enhancing existing accounts like add new contacts etc.
• Modify Already Existing Record: This option allowing modifying the existing information of account.
• Replace Already Existing Record: This option replace the existing customer with information available in migration template for these customers.

Data Migration tool steps:

• Upload your filled migration template. The system checks the formal consistency of the source file.
• Validate the source file. This step enables you to verify whether the migration template was filled correctly.
• Convert source values to solution values. During this step, the system automatically proposes new target values, based on the business configuration of your solution.
• Simulate the data import. This step allows you to correct any issues before data is actually written to the solution.
• Import your legacy data into the solution.
