Enhance ease of use by developing a more accessible storefront.

SAP Commerce Cloud, Composable Storefront now meets over 90% of the accessibility standards set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG) and the 2025 European Accessibility Act. These enhancements offer a more inclusive user experience, expanding your business reach to individuals with disabilities. By adhering to these standards, you also strengthen your organization’s corporate social responsibility and help avoid the risk of penalties.

We’ve upgraded the Composable Storefront to Angular 19, enhancing the developer experience and overall performance. Additionally, the implementation of Server-Side Rendering (SSR) Error Handling streamlines development efforts. allowing for smooth degradation and effective debugging of storefront issues.

Enhance security with two-factor authentication

Implementing two-factor authentication increases customer trust and loyalty, minimizes fraud and financial losses, and ensures compliance with data protection regulations, delivering a secure and reliable shopping experience for your customers.

Furthermore, it can lower customer support costs due to fewer fraud-related incidents and increase conversion rates as customers feel assured of the site's security.

We have streamlined the implementation of two-factor authentication from the initial interaction. You can now activate two-factor authentication via email during account registration and enjoy its associated benefits.

Reduce costs by hibernating non-production environments

Hibernation gives you greater control over your commerce operations by allowing you to safely shut down non-production environments whenever needed, without any data loss or recovery risk. Hibernations can also be scheduled, such as after completing a performance testing campaign. This can result in substantial cost savings, better resource allocation, and improved security and compliance.

These advantages contribute to a more efficient, secure, and cost-effective IT infrastructure. Best of all, we have begun the rollout of this self-service process that will let you trigger this manually through the Cloud Portal or via API, eliminating the need for assistance from SAP support.

Streamline product image editing with Product Image Designer

Initially launched in Q3 2024, the Product Image Designer allows businesses to efficiently produce professional-quality product photography without the need for specialized design skills.

We have enhanced this tool by integrating AI-assisted functionalities that remove and replace unwanted objects, isolate individual products by removing bundled items or accessories, and refine AI-generated images before publication. These enhancements ensure that all visuals align with brand standards, accurately showcase products, and enhance customer engagement.

We’ve increased our language support by adding 14 new languages, including Dutch, Hindi, Czech, Polish, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Hungarian, Norwegian, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Turkish, and Serbian. This enhancement allows merchants to effortlessly translate or generate product descriptions and attributes, seamlessly integrating them into SAP Commerce Cloud.

Accurately price products and calculate order values for complex items

With the latest SAP S/4HANA integration, SAP Commerce Cloud users can now price products and calculate order values accurately, efficiently, and consistently from a single location.

The B2B price calculation feature in SAP Variant Configuration and Pricing applies sales pricing rules from the backend while managing cart calculations independently of backend load. This functionality allows you to set up product models and pricing rules once in the backend and apply them universally.

Run targeted and personalized promotions with multi-code coupons

Harness the power of SAP Omnichannel Pricing Promotion integration to create multi-code coupons to run targeted campaigns across other SAP Customer Experience solutions, such as SAP Emarsys, providing personalized experiences for your customers.

These targeted campaigns are designed to attract new customers, increase sales and revenue, foster customer loyalty, and enhance brand awareness. Achieve smooth and seamless customer journeys, from centralized coupon promotion definition to execution across various channels.
