Would like to start career in SAP world

Hi guys,

I am currently working as a .Net developer since 6 years. I would like to see my self in SAP world. I would like to hear from experts on

     - Is it feasible to move my career from .Net to SAP ?

     - What is better SAP domain (ABAP, BI) for me (where my 6 years of experience helps)

     - and last how to get started?

Hi imran,

            Since you are alreay into Programming you can Better Opt for ABAP which has wide range of Oppurtunities.

your Previous Exp just helps as a Programmer

But you need to have minimum Exp in ABAP to get a job in the market.

To start Enroll in any sap institute but do not leave your present job.

after learning try to Attend the Quiries posted in this blog,improve your knowledge and then hunt for the Jobs.

After reading your query first question comes too my mind - WHY?

If you are doing for money, please note that >NET guy with 6 years experience will always earn more than a ABAP consultant with 0 experience.

Take a wise decision.

After reading your Query, I would recommed not to make any move towards SAP........Which is a honest reply from my side.....

Please think before you jumps, as Balaji here said in earlier comments its true... As a Abap fresher you wont get much money with 0 Experience campare to your present experience.....

Your present decision should be well planned for your future and aswell as should not affect your personal life.....!
