Hi,

There are many reasons for a client copy, It depends on what you want to achieve. Typically client refresh will be done to keep your QA/test clients up to date with the data from Production.

Hi Thulasi,

Oftentimes, the client is refreshed because it contains old data and/or configurations. The requirement for client refresh is to overwrite all of its the data with new data from a source client.

Hi,

Generally when you want to update quality system with particulars like

cutomizing / users roles and profiles / application data from priodcution system

OR differnet combination of the above data then client copy is used.

If testing requirment is to have the same system as that of production in that case client copy will not help, in such situations System copy is used.
