​Which SAP certifications are most in demand?

I'm working with a technology firm, was very curious to get my performance up-to the mark so I won't lose my job. There were many professionals having multiple IT Certification according to their respective nature of work. My Boss often advised me to get Certified so that, he can recommend my promotion in my performance appraisal. But certifications can get expensive. Factor in study materials, training and classes, exam fees, and the time that you devote to the whole experience; it all adds up. Can you suggest SAP Certification and what are its career benefits?

Well it depends on country, location and market. Generally HANA, SuccessFactors, S/4HANA certifcations are popular. I recommend starting with the free OpenSAP courses (open.sap.com) to see what interests you, and then look at obtaining certification.

SAP Certification is not something which you can start and finish whether its your functional area or not, it requires very much business process knowledge.

So I would like to advice you based upon your current profession choose SAP module and accordingly plan your certification!
