Hi All,
I have around 3+ yrs of exp. in SAP ABAP. While working in projects I have fundamental knowledge (means: what are the process flow ) in SD, MM and PP. But not depth knowledge.
Now I want to give a new direction to my career in SAP. So please suggest me which module will be good for me. Is it better to go with any functional module and set my career as Techno-functional or any other Module like XI or BI/BW.
I am little confused, so please help me out guys.
Thanks
Sanjaya

Hi Sanjaya,
Since you already have experience in ABAP, so it would not be difficult to get into BI/BW. HANA is the new in-line memory database from SAP and it will be the default DB in the future from SAP, once you finish learning BI/BW then you can go for HANA if you like.

Hi Shahir,
Thanks for ur valuable suggestion.
As per my knowledge HANA is cloud computing concept of SAP. So will it be easier to learn HANA as I have only experience in ABAP..
Is there any technical role in HANA??
Thanks
Sanjaya.

Hi Sanjaya
Thanks for your reply.
The beginning of HANA learning may takes some time, but you already have 3+years hands-on experiences, I think you can do it.

Hi,
If you have functional knowledge of SD and MM, CRM and SRM would be better. Don't go with core module like SD, MM, PP. Advice to go with CRM, SRM, SCM.
Thanks,
