Which module should i choose to learn in sap

Hi All ,

             This is Sunita ,.I am working in WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES for the past 7  yrs . Am good at .Net development but currently am into TESTING both automation and manual .  Now I would like to learn about SAP.Since i am new to SAP i don know what i need to take in SAP for the better carrier. can anyone please guide me in which module in SAP has the better opportunity in the future?. Does SAP PI suits me ? Lot of confusions run in my mind.  Your suggestions will be helpful , thanks in advance

--> Since you have programming background then it is good to choose ABAP with SAP testing. which suits you better as per you experience.

---> No one can guide you and can tel you which module in SAP has better future, it depends on your knowledge and experience.

Does SAP PI suits me ?

--> Again it depends, all module suits you if you are willing to learn. Based on you r previous experience then SAP PI yes will suit you.

As Ravi suggest, as you are from programming and testing background so either you should go for ABAP development or ABAP testing.

Hi sunita,

Why you want to learn about SAP after 7 years.... Since you were not in Domain industry also...

My kind suggestion to you, be there in your same profile and shine to top management level and accordingly you improve your profile which will route to you in better prospects....

Because here you need to start all things right from the scratch and also SAP industry will not match your expectation (Freshers) what your getting per year now...  So if your present company is giving chance to you to change in sap domain which would be recommendable but as i said above you need to start from scratch...
