Where to start with SAP

I am been working in financial industry from last 8 years(brokerage and banking) and graduated with the Bsc (computer science) in 2002 and would like to get back into IT industry. I would like to learn more about SAP since it seems interesting and may be making my career in SAP. I just don't know from where to start with SAP, which module to pic? whether to take a classroom training or e training? or which training site to use to learn SAP???

Any kind of information will be helpful to make my decision, whether to go this route or not???
