What to do if client ignored the contract?

Hello All,

the story:

well know European agency helped me to sign a contract with global SAP consultancy. I have bought plane ticket and visas, but just a day before leaving to client location the agent phoned me and asked not to go to client. This contract was not cancelled officially. More than a month has passed and there are no news regarding this contract and most likely will never be.

the problem:

I have spent enough money for plane ticket and visas (contract supposed to be outside EU) and I would like to be reimbursed somehow.

the question:

Is there any institution in European Union where I could report such issue?

Hi Mindaugas,

I witness few episodes alike. Fortunately I was not part of them but as far as I know apparently before signing the contract and all document work you must know that you are suppose to fly to your client place which would also required VISA and associated expanses.

I also believe that you have not done your tickets and VISA without any information and instructions ahead!?! In case if the deal has been void but you were asked to go at client's place then you must have either the Mail or the document of related information? Just present them (Both Agency and Client) and request to reimburse you. I trust they will defiantly work out somewhere near to your expectations.
