Hi i'm looking for a career in SAP ABAP and i would like to know what prerequisite knowledge am i supposed to know when it comes to ABAP.
I did my BE in Electronics and Telecommunication. I do have basic knowledge about OOP, C++ and java, but i have no knowledge of SQL.
So i would like to know if i will need to first take up a course to brush up my programing knowledge before i enroll for an ABAP course.

Hi,
SQL knowledge is also important (Min:Basics ) for SAP ABAP. Before joining just brush up c and oops Basics enough and if you are taking certification training choose class based training its will good and help you more.

Hi,
My case was kinda like yours. I am a b-tech graduate in Electrical & Electronics engineering & had some basic knowledge in C & java. Didn't know anything about SQL but cleared the Certification without much difficulty because whatever SQL related keywords and functions that are covered in ABAP certification is quite easy to understand. However it would be good idea to learn a bit more on SQL after completing the certification. And by the way i strongly suggest you to go for ILT .uggest you better go for ILT.
