What module will be good for a fresher to start with SD or CRM module?

Hi Experts,

I would like to know that which module will be good for a fresher like me to start with SAP, SD or CRM. Which one is relatively easier to understand for a fresher and has a better career specially in India? I am currently working in a Financial advisory firm, as back office operation support. I have decided to give my career a shift for a better future.So which module will be good for me as i heard that CRM is advance version of SD. Shall i go for CRM or SD?

Your suggestion will be appreciated.

Hi Sharib,

it depends on what you are going to do in future. Get an overview of the two modules and make yourself familiar what companies around you and see the jobs listed at their homepages...

Which module you are going to start isn't the basic question here. Moreover you have to ask yourself if you want to dive into.

( module FI, if you are at your current position having fun and like the content. That is also a huge module and you know, every company needs the guys who handle their money)

In my opinion it doesn't matter with what you start, it all depends on that you start.

Hi

As rightly told by Florian, I would also suggest you to check the FI module (If you have got enough finance functional experience).

If its are planning a mere jump from one technology to other, I would suggest you to look for BO tools, BPC, Hybris (Java must) and so on.

By the way, what made you to close the boundaries within CRM and SD?
