Dear ALL,
I am getting an opportunity to make a career in SAP PS in my company. Please guide me to explore SAP PS for better future. Some points I had in my mind before opting career in SAP PS.
1. Will SAP PS would be a better career for SAP PM Consultant.
2. What it would be the prerequisite before opting for SAP PS.
3. How I need to start the PS module so i can easily learn and understand the subject.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
Thanks & Regards,

Hi Basant,
I am a PM/PS consultant, my core is PM.
This is a rare combination in the consulting field and it has very rare opportunities. You need to hunt companies which are related to Mining, Oil & gas (not all, only specific) etc.
The demand for PM/PS consultant in business area where the company manufactures based on their customer request. They use PS to handle the each customer request has a project and PM will be there for the maintenance.
Unless you get a opportunity, you can not break through.
Also, you need to know part of financial terms and process to handle complete PS.
All the best
Regards
Terence

Thanks Terence,
Yes, I am working on SAP PS and got 2 projects, Since 3 months. First project was for 1 month and worked to some extent. Now I am working for a NGO Company who is basically dealing with R&D in water management. Yes, challenges are there for me as every object in the project structure is WBS. E.g.: all item lines where budget are allocated. Will discuss further for more details. Yes, one more points that there is time sheet integration in this.
Thanks,
Basant
