Hi, i am a final year undergraduate student form VIT University, Vellore.

SAP is coming to our college to recruit freshers.

Any guidelines as to how I can prepare for the process?

What prior preparation could be of help?

More so, because i am an Electronics student and have C programming knowledge.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Geet,

As you must know all recruitment rounds of SAP so prepare according that(If you don't then find on Google ). And don't worry about company will expect you to have knowledge of SAP, if you have it will be a plus point for you. But company will check your programming concepts. See all the language are same, just syntax are different. So Clear your concepts and there are some fix interview question be prepare for them also.

Be prepare for some basic question for SAP and most important Be strong on your Academic Project, Flow of Data . Search on Google Frequently ask Questions or interview tips ..

All the Best, Hope will meet soon in SAP.

Your Chair is waiting for you in SAP Labs.

Hi Geet,

As freshers you can prepare your resume with your interests and project which you have done so far.

Mean while read about SAP/ERP products on google and be familiar about them. it may have chance as ask about SAP/ERP basic questions. If you read them before your turn, its easy to answer them.

Hi

Any guidelines as to how I can prepare for the process?

Nothing to Prepare ...Be brave and tell all the thing which you did in your previous Project.

1.What is the thing you done ?

2.How much you have estimated for that Project and Hard work you did?

3.How it was helpful ?

What prior preparation could be of help?

Coming to SAP ...Since SAP is New Technology where it will never collapse

Hi Geet,

As Naveen said be confident at ur project, acedamics and COMMUNICATION skills.

I knew a fresher recruited into SAP she mentioned Communication played a major role.

At student level one would have never learnt SAP or its related Modules unless one is exceptionally interested and got time.

I would suggest be strong with what knowledge u have.

FYI SAP modules are only extension of Basics in a advanced way.

ABAP - be strong in OOC, SQL

BW - Data warehousing

BO - reporting and SQL

like this every module is an extension of basic stuff.

And All the best for ur interview.

Hope u come out with Flying Colurs.

Regards

Arun

Hi Geet,

There is nothing to prepare much.

1. Try to tell about yourself properly.

2. Be positive

3. Dont get panic

4. Dress up well

5. Try to give shake on with confidence.

6. Eye contact is very important

7. Try to learn what is SAP, what are the different types of modules in SAP, What is the new technology in SAP

I think the above mentioned points is more than enough to clear the interview.

All the best!

Hari Suseelan

Interesting to know that SAP is coming to campus. I think they won't be looking for actual SAP experience from you. But you can read basics of ERP on the net. Also prepare around your strengths and your subjects of study.
