Hi,
This is Ajay. I have 2 years of experience in JAVA . Now i want to shift from JAVA to SAP. Many people saying ABAP and PI is best pick. They said PI contains some java part so its better to choose it. I want to know whether SAP ABAP knowledge is required for PI or not. Can i learn PI directly without ABAP. How about current market on PI ? please clarify my queries and give me your valuable suggestions.
Thanks,
Ajay

Abap is not required for PI but if you know abap your salary is greater because you can develop your interfaces, but is not required.
You can learn on your own in the community of PI SDN:
http://scn.sap.com/community/developer-center/netweaver-process-orchestration
You can talk about your questions with the best PIs in PI forum community:
Process Orchestration:

Hope helped you.

Hello,
I will suggest you to learn ABAP if you are interested in coding, Look all Programming language are same, you just need to learn some syntax of ABAP, then you can use you logic/concepts of JAVA.
And i don't think there will be much ABAP included in PI.
